At Birchwood House, our residents and staff are both very important to us. We have kind, caring staff who know all the residents well and our small size promotes a real family feel in the home. We believe this is one of our real strengths and why our residents love being with us. If you come for a visit, it's very likely that you will find our staff spending time with the residents, engaging with them and listening to their stories.
We are a care home with qualified staff who genuinely care about our residents. You can feel the family vibe as soon as you walk through our doors, and that family feel is also felt between our staff. We want to make sure that everyone enjoys their time at our home and feels stimulated as well as cared for every day.

I like working at Birchwood because every day you learn more from the residents about their lives and experiences as you build relationships with them. The staff are wonderful and we will do whatever we can to help one another to ensure the smooth running of the home and making the residents feel cared for and appreciated and their time here fulfilling.

The main reason I like working at Birchwood is because I enjoy being with the residents, not just the personal care but the time that I spend with them, chatting to them and getting to know each resident individually. I also enjoy working with the team, they are so friendly and welcoming.
