Celebrations are a big part of life at Birchwood House! Birthday treats are a great way to celebrate our residents’ special days. Residents also enjoy celebrating Easter, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Chinese New Year’s, Christmas and many more!
Birthdays
We love celebrating birthdays at Birchwood House! Special birthday cakes made by our in house chef, Elia always put a smile on our residents’ faces!
Valentine’s Day
Who doesn’t enjoy celebrating the day of love! Valentine’s Day is a great excuse for residents to decorate the house with hand made crafts!
Easter
Easter is always a special occasion at Birchwood House, with chocolate being the main theme. Residents always enjoy decorating Easter biscuits and chocolate egg trees, as well as making Easter bonnets that they can choose to model for the day!
Chinese New Year
For Chinese New Year, residents and staff decorate the house with Chinese lanterns and enjoy a tasty oriental meal, made specially by our in house chef, Elia.
Halloween
Pumpkin carving and spooky decor! Residents and staff at Birchwood House enjoy turning the house into a Halloween house complete with pumpkins and spiders! It’s also a good excuse to enjoy some trick or treating Halloween sweets.
Christmas and New Year
At Birchwood House, residents always wake up to a white Christmas thanks to our amazing snow machine! Christmas has to be one of the most magical times of the year, putting up and decorating our Birchwood House Christmas tree, opening presents with friends and enjoying a traditional Christmas feast!
